L’artiste français Bernard Piffaretti fonde sa pratique sur la répétition et l’analyse des composantes de la peinture. Comme l’artiste le constate lui-même, « la reprise acte par acte, sur la deuxième moitié de la toile, ne peut produire qu’un état imparfait ».
