Wolfgang Volz has worked with Christo and Jeanne-Claude since 1971. He was project director (with Roland Specker) of Reichstag empaqueté and (with Josy Kraft) of Arbres empaquetés; he was also responsible for The Wall, 13,000 Oil Barrels, in 1999. He documents the work and the entire career of this couple of artists known worldwide for their land art installations which consist of bringing out the essential form of monuments, islands and landscapes by wrapping them.
